Information you provide

When you send a product enquiry or book a meeting, you may provide your name, company, country, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, product interests, quantities, preferred meeting time and the contents of your message. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we also receive the information you choose to share in that conversation. Please do not send payment-card details or sensitive personal documents through the website enquiry form.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, discuss products and sourcing requirements, prepare samples or quotations, arrange meetings, and keep records of our business correspondence. If a business relationship develops, we may use relevant details to coordinate production, quality checks, documentation and shipment. We do not add you to promotional mailing lists merely because you submitted an enquiry.

Who may receive it

We may share the details necessary to handle your request with our authorised team, relevant Indian manufacturing partners, and service providers that help us operate the website or communicate with you. For an actual order, relevant details may also be shared with shipping, logistics, banking or professional-service providers where needed to perform the agreed transaction or meet legal requirements. We do not sell your contact information.

Some buyers and service providers are located outside India. Information may therefore be processed or communicated across borders as necessary for the purpose described above, subject to applicable law.

Website technology

The website may use essential technologies needed for its operation. If optional analytics or advertising cookies are enabled, we will provide the relevant information and choices on the website.

Retention and security

We keep enquiry and business records for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain the business relationship, resolve issues, or meet applicable record-keeping duties. We use reasonable measures to restrict access and protect the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You may ask us to correct or delete contact information, request information about our use of it, or withdraw consent where consent applies, subject to applicable legal and business record-keeping duties. To make a request or raise a privacy concern, email export@jalagarment.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Please tell us the email address or phone number you used when contacting us so we can identify the relevant record. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request.

Product information

Catalogue images, sketches and product descriptions are for discussion and may include development references rather than finished physical samples. Fabrics, colours, sizes, construction, availability and specifications must be confirmed in writing for each enquiry. A website listing does not reserve stock or create a commitment to manufacture or supply.

Quotations and orders

Sending an enquiry or receiving an indicative response does not create a purchase order or binding supply agreement. Price, minimum order quantity, sample costs, specifications, quality requirements, delivery schedule, payment terms and shipping terms are confirmed in a written quotation, pro forma invoice or other agreed order document. If documents conflict, the subsequently agreed order-specific document governs that order.

Our typical starting MOQ is 500 pieces per style. Bulk production typically requires around 90 days after final sample, specifications and commercial terms are approved, subject to material availability, quantity and written confirmation. These are planning indications, not guaranteed terms for every style.

Buyer materials and private labels

If you provide designs, logos, artwork or specifications, you confirm that you are authorised to use and share them for the requested development or production. We use such materials to assess or perform your request and do not claim ownership of your buyer-owned brand or artwork. Any confidentiality or exclusive-use arrangements should be agreed separately in writing before sensitive materials are shared.

Website content

The JALA GARMENT name, website text, imagery and other original content may not be copied for commercial use without permission, except where rights belong to the relevant owner. Do not use the website to submit unlawful, misleading or harmful material.

External links and availability

External links, if any, are provided for convenience. We cannot guarantee that external websites or this website will always be available or error-free. Please verify critical order details directly with us in writing.

Delivery terms

We may quote a suitable Incoterms® 2020 rule such as FOB [named Indian port], FCA [named place], CIF [named destination port] or CIP [named destination place], depending on the goods and transport plan. A quotation must identify the specific rule and named port or place. Other arrangements are available only when expressly agreed in writing. An enquiry or general statement about worldwide shipping does not mean that JALA GARMENT automatically pays destination duties, taxes or last-mile delivery charges.

Incoterms® address delivery responsibilities, costs and transfer of risk; they do not by themselves set the price, payment terms, ownership transfer or all customs obligations under an order. The signed or otherwise accepted order documents should cover those points where needed.

Lead times and shipment dates

Sample-development and production timing depend on the approved specifications, materials, quantities and factory schedule. The expected ready date and shipping arrangement will be confirmed for each order. Transit times are carrier estimates and may be affected by customs, port conditions or other events outside our control. Please confirm any time-critical delivery requirement before placing an order.

Documents and import requirements

Depending on the order and destination, we coordinate commercial invoices, packing lists, transport documents and other agreed export documents. The buyer should tell us before order confirmation if a destination requires particular labels, testing, certification, marking, permits or import documents. These requirements, their costs and the party responsible for arranging them must be agreed in the order documents. Import clearance, duties and taxes depend on the agreed delivery term and destination rules.

Insurance and claims

Cargo insurance is arranged according to the selected Incoterms® rule and any additional written agreement. If you receive damaged or short-shipped goods, preserve the packaging and evidence, notify the carrier within its applicable time limits, and contact us promptly with the order reference, photos and supporting documents. Any remedy is handled under the agreed order terms and applicable law.
